- I'm a very blessed guy with the greatest wife, children, and grandkids in the world. I taught middle school in DISD for 36 years and retired in May of 2006. Now I drive a school bus to punish myself for teaching 36 years in DISD. I have a huge interest in aviation photography. Most of the pictures you see on this blog are from very talented photographers; the others are mine.

Wow, that one of the 2 planes flying one on top of the other is amazing.
Thanks for posting them so we could go Wow! too!! I like the one with the rainbow and the ones with the sun! Just too cool. As a fellow arial photographer do you know you are getting that cool of a picture when you take it or is it just afterwards you realize it?
Occasionally while shooting, I'll see some circumstances coming together and realize there is potential for something cool. But most of the time, I have to wait until I've uploaded the shots into the computer. And it is a wonderful thing to enlarge a thumbnail to reveal a shot that makes me go, "WOW!"
